Pasta with Garlic, Walnuts and Arugula
Although this pasta has only a few ingredients, it is surprisingly tasty. It is very fresh and great with a good glass of dry white wine. Make sure the pasta is really al dente because it plays a big role in this dish. You can serve it together with a tomato salad if you like.

Ingredients

  • pasta ingredients200g spaghetti
  • A bunch of arugula
  • 50g walnuts
  • Half a glove of garlic
  • 2 hands of parmesan cheese
  • Olive oil
  • Salt and pepper

 

Heat up a pan with water and some salt for the pasta. Boil the pasta until it is al dente. Heat up a smaller pan with water as well and take it of the fire when it boils. Put in the walnuts for a few minutes. Take them out and chop them as well as the garlic. Cut the arugula for a bit and put it in a bowl together with the garlic and the walnuts. Add some olive oil and mix it together. When the pasta is done you can add it to the mixture. Add half of the parmesan cheese, some pepper and salt and mix it again. Serve it with the rest of the parmesan cheese so you can add more if you like.
