Gnocchi with Gorgonzola

Gnocci with Gorgonzola

Preparing this recipe will only take you a couple of minutes and it is very easy. The combination of the gorgonzola cream and the broccoli is delicious and I can never stop eating this. I used to eat this with penne pasta but I discovered it is even better with gnocci. In this case it is vegetarian but you can also add some chicken if you want.

  • 1 broccoliGnocci with Gorgonzola Ingredients
  • 2 gloves of garlic
  • 200 ml cooking cream
  • 500g gnocchi
  • 200g gorgonzola
  • olive oil
  • hand full of parmesan cheese
  • salt & pepper


Heat up two pans with water and a bit of salt in it. One for the Gnocchi and one for the broccoli. In the meanwhile you can cut the broccoli into florets, cut the gorgonzola into dices and chop the garlic. Once the water for the broccoli is boiling you can add the broccoli and boil the florets for two minutes. Take them out of the water and put them aside.

Now take a frying pan, put some oil and the garlic in it and fry it until it gets a light color. Add the cooking cream and the gorgonzola and let the cheese melt. Right after this you can put the gnocchi in the boiling water. They are done when they come to the surface. When the gorgonzola is molten you can add the broccoli, some salt and pepper and heat it for two more minutes. Add the gnocchi to the saus in the frying pan, mix it together and top it off with some parmesan cheese.
